"Great food, service and atmosphere. The sandwiches are first rate and my wife's steak was excellent. Prices were good, especially when you consider the quality of the meal. The service has been consistently good and they went out of their way to accommodate my wife's request. There is also a small ice cream cafe inside the restaurant, which my kids love. The only knock (if you'd call it that) is the parking. It can get very busy at lunch and dinner times and we sometimes struggle finding parking spots. We once parked in the drive way (without realizing it until we came back to the car) once, and at the Car Quest on another visit. Our solution is to go sooner, 11:30 vs Noon, and we've found an easier time of it. If you're new to Manning, give this one a shot and you won't be disappointed."

"Michelle , our server, was very attentive and efficient! All staff were friendly. Pricing was very reasonable. The dim lights & low music made for a relaxing lunch. Food was amazing! We had hamburger steak, loaded baked potatoe, sweet potato fries, classic burger & sweet tea!"

"What a hidden treasure! We were "just passing through" and it was a couple of miles off the interstate, but SO worth the few minutes it took to get there. Our server told us it's owned by a mom and daughter who are also the cooks, so everything is made with love. We had a variety of dishes, and all of them were delicious. The service was great, and the music was right up our alley. If we lived here, we'd be frequent diners!"

"If you're traveling 95 and are looking for someplace to eat, do your taste buds and soul a favor and drive just a couple of minutes off the interstate, turn onto Main St. and stop in to this little "hole in the wall". None of the chain restaurants right next to the big road can compare to this local jem! I was faced with a dilemma of what I was going to choose from the wide selection on their menu. I definitely chose a winning combination of their 16oz ribeye with fried squash and sweet potato hash browns... that's right... sweet potato hash browns in melted butter and brown sugar! Getting the party started was a dish of fried green tomatoes. I'm literally writing this as I'm halfway thru my steak and every bite is just as fantastic as the first. I'm really trying to save room for their ice cream shop! Stand by! ..... Ok, I'm back! The ice cream shop took me back to my childhood! Bubblegum ice cream! I'm 10 again! Jess was my server this evening and couldn't have been friendlier! When I asked if they have raspberry tea, she regretted to inform me they don't... but she said she might be able to make some. She came back with a perfect blend! As others have stated, to look at it from the outside, it's very unassuming. But as the old saying goes... "Never judge a book by its cover"! This place has a new regular! (whenever I drive up or down from Maryland). Thank you for a great dinning experience!"

"Wonderful... Wonderful-- WONDERFUL! Sort of has a Cracker Barrel feel to it with all the tchotchkes and trinkets that's for sale-- BUT the food is some of THE MOST delicious around... I had fried flounder and okra-- along with pickings of fried oysters, shrimp and (french) fries from the plates of family members and OMG. There are NO words! Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream served in waffle cone cups topped off our meal from the in-house Ice Cream Shoppe that sits within the establishment! "Mmm-mmm Good!" WAIT! That's a slogan from an entirely different entity. However it is a befitting description of this venue"
